Frequently asked questions.
Answers to the questions we hear most often.
Is Bodulo a property management system built for Botswana, or a global tool adapted for it?
Bodulo is built around how property is managed here: local payment methods, and workflows shaped for the way local firms actually run a portfolio, not a generic system with the currency symbol changed.
Can Bodulo handle both residential and commercial units?
Yes. A unit can carry bedrooms for a residential listing, or a lettable floor area for commercial space, and Bodulo tracks rent per square metre automatically wherever that area is set: the same portfolio, the same system.
Can we bring our existing portfolio and tenants into Bodulo?
Yes. Bodulo has a migration path for taking on an existing rent roll and its tenants, so you don't need to start every lease from scratch to move onto the platform.
Does every person on our team see the whole portfolio?
Only if you want them to. Bodulo separates who can see something from who can decide something: a manager can be scoped to specific properties, while roles like finance and director hold the sign-off that needs a second person's judgement.
How does maintenance work if we already have our own maintenance staff?
You can assign a job straight to your own team with no bidding involved, or send it to Bodulo's contractor marketplace when you need outside help. Both paths track the job from report to sign-off in the same system.
